ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Marisa Burke. I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Public Relations from the Greenlee School of Journalism and Mass Communication. During my time there, I found a real passion for communication and how it can bring people together through stories, ideas, and shared experiences.

I’ve had the chance to work on projects that taught me how to take an idea and turn it into something real, whether that’s planning a campaign, writing content, or building out a social post that gets people to stop and pay attention. I enjoy the creative process, but I also like the behind-the-scenes work of organizing, planning, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

What matters most to me is creating work that feels authentic and makes a difference, whether that’s for a community, a brand, or the people it’s meant to reach.
